This is a great crew of mechanics. We were on a cross country move with our ford van and trailer that had 350k miles on it. Blew a spark plug out of the triton V8 rolling into Albuquerque (common problem with these engines). Absolutely crippled the engine with all our belongings in the vehicle 800 miles from our new home. This could have been catastrophic.Frantically calling around the next morning, we were quickly referred to Mango Automotive. They weren’t phased at all by the problem and knew exactly what to do. They even moved some jobs around to get us in that morning and had us on the road by 2pm, just in time to miss the snow storm in flagstaff.Their flexibility and competence (and confidence) kept my family and I calm as they performed surgery on our engine. And at the end, they presented us with an honest, fair price. This was much appreciated as we were completely stranded.I’d trust these folks with anything auto related. A rare gem.
This company was great to work with. I’m always skeptical of mechanic shops but since the beginning, I knew I could trust them. They properly diagnosed my vehicle and could have gouged me but offered only the necessary services at an affordable rate and it was done promptly along with great customer service and regular updates. They have earned this customer for life!
Great first visit! My heater stopped working, they had it diagnosed within 90 minutes, and fixed within 2 hours! Comfortable, clean, relaxing waiting area. Will definitely be using Mango Automotive for my vehicle maintenance!

I had installed a 3" Rough Country lift on my 2008 Nissan Frontier with 285/75-16 at all corners. Then I called around to make an alignment appointment. Many 4x4 shops didn't even answer their phones. Pep Boys said no-can-do because of lift kit. Mango got me scheduled for next business day and it was timely completed. They were also very professional and provided a follow up call to ensure satisfaction.
They do a great job at a fare price. They know what they're doing. Good people. It's good to know where to go when you're car needs fixed.
10 Stars! Mango Auto is an ABSOLUTE GEM!I was traveling from Texas to California towing a trailer and noticed my brakes were having a hard time slowing the trailer driving down into Albuquerque. When I rolled my truck into their shop my brakes were in horrible shape. I wouldn't have been safe to continue on down the road if it wasn't for Jessie (Owner), Mike (Service Writer), and the extremely talented Tech who performed the work.They explained the work that needed to be done (I rolled in with nearly non-existent brake pads, rotors and a cracked rear drum; I left with all new everything). They showed me how tore up the old parts were after they replaced everything and got me back on the road in no time! After making sure the truck was safe and ready to roll they even helped me get my trailer hitched back up!Automotive repair isn't always a fun experience, but the folks at Mango made it a breeze. They care about people and treat them fairly. The only sad part of the story is that they don't have locations on the west cost yet!Both locations get a review for the excellent service because this shop was an absolute lifesaver. Cute logo too!
Excellent service! This is the type of company you want to do business with. They changed a flat tire for me and the lug key got misplaced and the managers response? "Whatever we need to do it will get done." No hassle, no defending, just honest integrity!!! Go here for your car work folks!!! It's hard to find integrity like this in today's world!!! Went in to get a check on front end. They told me it was shocks and struts wanted $1500 to do the job. . There were some issues that I wrote about. The owner called me. He made it right. Refunded the diagnostic fee and going to do the front end alignment for me at no cost. Unfortunately can't do it today just got called for emergency. This is the first time an auto repair place has stood by their agreement. I will use them again. But cautiously. Thank you for making it right. I give them 5 stars because the owner has done all he could to make sure it was right. No auto repair shop will ever do this. Accept southern auto in Rio rancho.
My wife’s SUV started having various problems, including a fuel line leak, just hours after having the brakes done at another shop (could be coincidental).A friend recommended Mango and their VIP program. They were great. They went the extra mile figuring out how to fix all the issues without needing to order new parts. Saved me around $500 and at least a week of wait time. Car is running great without any signs of leakage.VIP was $28 / month and saved me over $50 that day. I got the free shuttle lined up for my wife, and I have the 2 free oil changes for the year, so already worth it. Highly recommend Mango.
I want to start off by saying that I did not get work done here, so I am not rating quality of work.I came in for an estimate. I knew going in what was wrong with my Jeep, and a mechanic friend had already told me any estimate over $500 was shining me on. I went into Mango, and everyone was very friendly. They quoted me $925 for my repair and AC recharge. Yikes! I called another place in town and got my AC fixed and recharged for $313. If I hadn’t known better, I might’ve paid over $600 more! I just wanted to let other people know as all of the reviews mentioning “affordability” led me to test this place out, but that certainly wasn’t the case for me.

Over the years I have taken cars here for minor work like oil changes and they have always done very well. After new ownership I brought my lifted jeep to them a few times for alignments and they always do a great job. They even put up with how particular I am and went in for fine adjustments. The team at Mango have all best intentions in mind and are very friendly to all who come in. I highly recommend

I got some work done on my Dodge journey, They gave me an estimate and did the work promised!!! They went out of their way to make sure that I got my car back in 3 days!!! After years of using another repair facility, THIS is my new place to go. I had a bit of a time intensive Blower Motor & Speed controller replacement (it was not in the usual 2 places). They took the time with my older car and even helped get the car to the house, for a very unique situation ( I had to go into the hospital while they were completing the repair ).From a Price standpoint they offer a very good value. They offered me the Veterans discount but I will absolutely tell you that this was of no concern to me. I even told the service rep that if the repair took a little longer, to just charge it and this would be OK. I was more interested in them taking the time needed to get it done. That aspect may be unique to my repair, but it was worth it. I also had a 4 wheel alignment done. I have had the repair completed for over a week now and the car drives and handles just that bit better from the alignment, that I new it needed.My Brother in law just had his check engine light go on and I referred him to Mango as well. They are getting him taken care of too. This is - straight up - a great place to get your every day repairs taken care. I will be referencing them for my other family members in the future here.When you get a good set of mechanics and service personnel, you know you need to keep them in your phone for all those normal and odd auto repairs that WILL happen. That being said, I would 100% recommend the folks here at Mango Automotive.
Brian and Kyler were able to get me into the shop on my schedule. Once in, Junior was able to investigate and diagnose the coolant level in my wife’s car. Result- I was only charged the diagnostic fee. We’ll worth it for the peace of mind. Thanks guys!
Took my 2014 Kia here for an oil change and brake inspection - was very happy with the service I received. I felt that it was a fair price for what was done. Loved the complimentary Lyft ride opinion and the waiting room is just too cute for words. I could tell they were new and still working out a system, but that will come with time. I will be back!
